FAQs

We’re not here just to sell cheesecakes. We’re here to change how we eat. Real whole foods.

Why do your products cost more?

Because we don’t cut corners. Most “protein” snacks rely on whey powder, seed oils, gums, artificial sweeteners, or “natural flavors.” We use real food from trusted brands: cottage cheese, pasture-raised eggs, Greek yogurt, raw honey, heavy cream, whole grain oats, almond flour, pure vanilla beans, and coconut flour. These ingredients cost more, taste better, and support real nutrition. The food industry is built around cheap shortcuts. We chose not to play that game.

How is Graze Anatomy Kitchen different from other brands?

Flip over our competitors’ packages and you’ll see emulsifiers, stabilizers, seed oils, and sugars disguised as “natural flavors.” Our ingredient list reads like your grocery list. No seed oils. No processed sugars. No artificial sweeteners. No gums, lecithin, or preservatives. No extracts. Just whole foods blended with intention.

Where do you source your ingredients?

We only use ingredients from trusted premium brands, the same ones we keep in our own kitchen for our own family. Sourcing may vary depending on availability, but the standard never changes - everything is high quality. This is one of the main reasons our products cost more. We refuse to cut corners, and it shows in every bite.

What does “clean label” mean to you?

It means real ingredients you can point to without Googling. No seed oils, no “natural flavors,” no processed sugars, no artificial sweeteners, no gums, no lecithin, no preservatives. If it doesn’t belong in a home kitchen, it doesn’t belong in ours.

Are your eggs truly pasture-raised?

Yes. Pasture-raised eggs have better flavor and nutrient density than conventional eggs, and using them is part of our commitment to whole-food ingredients. It costs more, but it aligns with our mission and our standards.

Is your honey really raw?

Yes. We use 100% pure, unfiltered raw honey because it tastes deeper and more floral than processed honey, and it fits our whole-food standard (no processed sugars, no weird additives). It costs more, and it’s fussier to work with, but it aligns with our mission and our ingredients.

Why do I sometimes see a little liquid after thawing my cheesecake?

Because our cheesecakes are made with premium whole-food ingredients and no stabilizers or gums, you may occasionally see a small amount of liquid after thawing. This is normal and does not mean the cheesecake is bad or lower quality.

If you ever notice an unusually large amount of liquid or the cheesecake seems to be falling apart, please contact us through our website and we will make it right.

Why did you create Graze Anatomy Kitchen?

We were tired of picking up “healthy” frozen foods and finding long lists of processed additives, fillers, and vague flavorings. Many ingredients in the modern food system aren’t well-studied long-term, and we asked ourselves a simple question: why use them at all? We wanted a product you can trust instantly, with ingredients you already know. No BS. No corner cuts. Just premium whole foods.

What does “Graze Anatomy” mean?

It blends our medical background with our love for real food. “Graze” reflects eating whole, intentional ingredients. “Anatomy” represents science, transparency, and understanding what actually goes into your body. Together, it captures our mission: whole-food products built on clarity and real nutrition.

Are you really medical students?

Yes. We’re medical students, Phillip and Brian, at Carle Illinois College of Medicine, graduating in 2026. Our training in health and physiology shapes everything we make. These cheesecakes weren’t built for trends, they were built to support real, long-term wellness.
